Skin casing
The supple Skin carcass ensures low rolling resistance and makes the tyre easier to mount than a stiff model.
ADDIX rubber compound
The ADDIX compound improves the tyre’s grip in both dry and wet conditions, without affecting rolling resistance.
RaceGuard puncture protection
Beneath the tread lies the RaceGuard layer, which stops sharp objects such as glass and small stones before they can reach the inner tube. This explains the tyre's above-average puncture resistance for a fast road bike tyre.

Weight and pressure are manufacturer’s specifications and may vary slightly.
Not compatible with:
- Tubeless set-ups without inner tubes – this tyre is not tubeless-ready. Schwalbe clearly marks tubeless-compatible variants with "TLE"; this version is labelled "TUBE ONLY".
- Wheels with a size other than 28 inch (622), such as 26 inch (mountain bike) or 20 inch (folding bike).
Not sure? Here’s how to check:
Check the sidewall of your current tyre for the size (e.g. 25-622 or 700x25C). If you are unsure whether you are currently using a tubeless tyre, check the printing on the sidewall: "TLE" means tubeless-ready, "TUBE ONLY" (like this tyre) means you are riding it with an inner tube.
Included as standard:
- 1x Schwalbe One tyre in your chosen width and colour
Not included / still required or useful:
- An inner tube in the correct size – see our road bike inner tubes
- Tyre levers – see our tyre & wheel tools
- A bike pump with pressure gauge
If you are unsure about fitting the tyre, have a professional bike mechanic do it.
- Check your tyre pressure before every ride and do not exceed the maximum pressure for your tyre size; see the table under Compatibility above.
- For accurate inflation, use a bike pump with a pressure gauge.
No, this version of the Schwalbe One is not designed for tubeless use and must be ridden with an inner tube. Schwalbe clearly labels its tyres as "TLE" (tubeless-ready) or "TUBE ONLY"; this tyre is a "TUBE ONLY" version.
In what sizes is the Schwalbe One road bike tyre available, and will it fit my rim?
The Schwalbe One has an ETRTO size of 622 (28 inch/700c), and we offer it in the following tyre widths: 23-622, 25-622, 28-622, 30-622 and 32-622. Check the sidewall of your current tyre or look for "700x..C" on your rim to see if 622 is the correct size.
What is the difference between the black and bronze sidewall (or brown) versions?
The only difference is the colour of the sidewall; in black, the tyre has a uniform look, and in brown (bronze sidewall) it has a classic look that attracts more attention. The handling is the same for both versions.
What is the maximum rider weight for the Schwalbe One road bike tyre?
That depends on the tyre width you choose: For 23 and 25 mm, the maximum load is 70 kg; for 28, 30 and 32 mm, it is 75 kg. This weight applies to a single tyre, not to the combined weight of the rider and the bike.

Great product
I’m very pleased with Swalbe’s racing tyres; I’ve been biking with them for years. I fit the new tyres at the start of the season, which means no hassle from punctures all season long. It’s a brilliant product – I’d recommend it to any cyclist.

Not satisfied
When riding a bike, with every revolution of the wheel, it feels as though there’s a bump in it.

A great, reliable tyre – I haven’t had a puncture with it even after 5,000 km. I’ve just replaced the rear one, but the front one still looks as good as new!
